What can be the reason for killing the 7months old 3rd generation iPad?
The strategy followed by apple is, it always launches the new product after a year of the previous one.
This news has surprised everyone. But there may be a very strong reason for this step by apple. The device price of the refurbished third-gen iPad is actually reduced to $379 because it’s no more in the product list of apple.
But, this price of 3rd gen ipad is almost equal to that of the ipad 2 i.e. $400 and people will surely choose the ipad 3 with its Retina Display, faster processor, and LTE data.
Bigger surprise on the very same day was the announcement of a fourth-generation iPad with a fast A6X processor, support for more wireless carriers, and an HD camera on front for video chat.
The list of all launches by apple on 23rd of October:
- New iBooks software.
- New retina 13* Macbook Pro(two build configuration).
- Mac Mini (three build configurations).
- iMac(at least two sizes, each probably with at least two build configurations).
- Apple Fusion Drive(not a standalone product, but very cool, and an orderable option).
- 4th generation iPad(six main models).
- iPad mini(six models).
Now, all eyes are on 26th October on the launch of Microsoft Surface.
