All about Samsung Galaxy S4

Samsung Galaxy S4

Samsung has fared well with hardly giving its rivals time to breathe by hitting the markets with high end smartphones and notes. 2012 has been a great year for Samsung and with the official announcement of S4 on 14th March and release scheduled in April; it is a talk of the town right now. How well does it stay up in the market beating other Android rivals such as Sony’s Xperia Z or the marvelous HTC One is worthy a wait.

Coming to the design and the features part let’s have a closer look at Samsung Galaxy S4.

Design:

It is a truly engineered phone which has a larger display and yet manages to have smaller dimensions and lighter when compared to its predecessor. The looks are great while the material used and the feel is very similar to S3. Not much to talk about here. The 5inch screen with such comfort level is the key design of the phone. With the plastic of S4 we see more fingerprints for sure however it is an easy to hold device. Usual ports like power button, volume rocker, 3.5mm headset jack, mic, noise cancelling mic and a USB port come along. The 2500mAh battery is removable, thankfully and also a microSD slot. One can chose from the range of 16GB, 32GB and 64GB phone.

Display:

5-inch Full HD (1080p) Super AMOLED display makes one go gaga for sure. With Note 2 we always knew what Samsung had to offer, and the same is seen with S4. It spots a full HD resolution (1080 x 1920) and produces a pixel density of 441ppi. The colour tones and viewing angles are great having a wow factor in them. And having the same functionality of S pen as in Note 2, nothing goes better.

The New goodies:

Fun, Relationship, Life Task and Life Care are the four abstract categories where the new goodies lie. The more you discover them, the more you will love them. From professional photographs to health related issues to scrolling to games and what not. All new goodies are surely packed in over here.

Concluding line:

Packed up with good goodies and great features was what expected and that’s out there with S4. However, there’s no out of the box design or feature that made us go in awe with S4. Flawless we can say with tried and tested features enclosed. A brilliant Android phone with sleek design and an impressive screen is surely a companion one wants.
