Sakshi comes across as a confident and articulate person with clear concepts and the ability to give a patient hearing to others. These qualities have held her in good stead at the important HR function she takes care of at Winjit.
She has a total work experience of 11+ years out of which the last 6.5 years have been with Winjit. She originally hailed from Kanpur and did her schooling there and then moved to Mumbai. She completed her MBA in HR from ICFAI.
At Winjit, she has progressed in her career from Senior HR Executive to Manager – Human Capital and now as Senior Manager – Human Capital. Currently, she takes care of Talent acquisition at Winjit for India and South Africa geographies. In addition, she takes care of the organization’s payroll and HR operations. She has a team of 6 reporting to her.
Sakshi believes that Winjit has created a fantastic work culture that motivates employees to perform, upscale their skills and contribute to productivity. According to her the ratio of female employees at Winjit is at par with the industry average and the contribution of the female employees to the overall growth of the organization has been equally spectacular.
She and her colleagues in the HR function keep organizing innovative events to keep the morale of the employees high and also to take care of their training and development needs. Winjit has always been empathetic towards the needs and personal issues of the employees, especially during Covid.
Sakshi is proud of the fact that she has made a significant contribution towards finding the right talents and revamping the organization from a team of 250 employees to 750+. The team is likely to grow further and Sakshi and her colleagues at HR are geared up to meet that challenge.
Sakshi has been able to find the right balance between her professional & personal life. She loves cooking and watching movies in her leisure time.
